Nashville's best kept secret

The cherry blossoms (as well as chris davis) have been getting alot of mention lately in the nashville online community so I thought now would be a good time to get off my ass and post something about them. First off I have to say that the cherry blossoms are an amazing band. The first time I can remember seeing them was back in 2003 though I'm sure I had seen them before that. This show however has stayed in my memory because of how impressed I was by them. The band was in full effect with I'm sure at least ten plus members on stage they were opening for deerhoof and seven year rabbit.

Years later in 2005 I was given the chance to have them on the short lived radio show "the stage" here is one of my favorite tracks from that radio appearance.

I suggest picking up their record somehow, which has newly been pressed on vinyl. Go to their site here there quite a few mp3 links as well.
